The Food Service Worker (FSW) program is designed for those who wish to work in food industry or in health care kitchens. Students will be trained in food handling, nutrition, sanitation and safety, quantity food preparation. College will arrange the practicum placement in health care setting for 120 hours, which will give practical hands-on experience that meets the government standards and employment requirements. Program graduates can apply for jobs in Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Long Term Care, Retirement Homes and Airline Kitchens.
OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma) or equivalent or mature student (of at least 18 years of age) who has successfully completed Ministry approved qualifying test from the college.
